Children Of The Light!

We live in a time that we as Christian people must decide whether we believe God is Absolutely Good, or He is not. Christian people are children of the Light they must quit reading the Bible with darkness dancing in their eyes. There’s nothing the devil would enjoy more than to catch you looking through a shadow, because from the shadows he can kill you.

James 1 declares: [16] Do not err, my beloved brethren.
[17] Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

To believe that God is anything but Absolutely Good is to be in error!

We as Christian people have allowed our knowledge of God to be shaped by shadows far to much. We have made The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to look like He is no different than any other religious god around the world.  We’ve done this through our ignorance of covenant, son-ship, and what the Blood of Jesus actually accomplished, and through our refusal to walk in these facts.

A poor standard of Christian living (As a real Christian living in the whole great commission) is responsible for the world even seeking another way other than Jesus. The church has to ask itself “How much light do we want?” We could start by reading the scripture in the light and not with darkness dancing in our eyes.

A couple of good scriptures to begin your new walk of light is found in

ST. John 10-10

[10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Anything to do with Stealing, Killing, or Destroying is the devil. Anything to do with Life and more abundant life is Jesus. And they NEVER trade places or borrow from one another.

Another scripture is

St John 14: 8 & 9

[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
[9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Search the four gospels and if you can’t find Jesus doing it then you and I have no right and no scriptural basis by which to lay it at the Fathers feet!

James Chapter 1: verse 13 declares “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:”

This word tempted is the word (tempted, tested, and tried!) Read the verse this way.

St. James chapter 1 verse   [13] Let no man say when he is tempted, (tempted, tested, and tried!) I am tempted (tempted, tested, and tried!) of God: for God cannot be tempted (tempted, tested, and tried!) with evil, neither tempteth (tempted, tested, or tried!) he any man:

Well someone may say if God is not doing these things or allowing these bad things to come on us for a reason then who is doing it? You know, according to James 1:13 Even if I didn’t know, I would never again let it come out of my mouth that God did it!

When I was a boy I lived back in the woods with my family. We didn’t have a television that would get the show Gunsmoke. My uncle had one, so every week my grandmother and I would go to his house to watch the show. Since we had to walk at night, and there were no street lights, we would carry a flashlight to light the old road we walked on. I asked her one night could I hold the light? I was about 7 or 8 yrs old. She said yes but shine it from side to side. From the edge of the road on our right to the edge of the road on our left. She said not to just shine it straight in front of you because she said, “Snakes hide in the shadows!”

Jesus said in Mark chapter 4  [30] And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
[31] It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
[32] But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Fowls of the air in the Bible unless it’s talking about a sparrow or something represent demonic spirits. Notice where The Master said they live at UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE BRANCHES! Jesus is the vine beloved, but WE ARE THE BRANCHES! The powers of darkness hide in the shadows that the branches produce, Not God!

James 1: [17] Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The next time on your Christian walk that you are tempted to say God allowed this sickness or God allowed this pain, or God is trying to teach me something through this trial, you need to shine the light not just in front of you but also from side to side. YOU MUST LIGHT UP THE SHADOWS!!

Make up your mind that God Is Absolutely Good!
